Want It, Love it, Hate it

This is just going to be a kinda all around review of some things I've loved and some things I didn't feel the love for along with some things I'm drooling over. Unfortunately this is in random order since ya know organization is not my strong suit.
Love Love Love it! I "visited" this at TJ Maxx forever and the beau got it for our 5 year(gawd that's a long time) anniversary last month.
DKNY Hot Pink pebble leather Wallet
I am just DROOLING over this handbag to match the wallet. I can just see many happy thrifting and yardsaleing days happening with this bag.
DKNY Town & Country Large Tote Beige and Pink
It looks like it's a different pink then then wallet but it's just the pic.
I just don't get these.....AT ALL
I know they are incredibly popular but I just don't get it. All I think of when I see one is...
Tacky "Gift with Purchase"
It's basically just a nylon bag that's morphed into a status symbol, and I love a good status symbol like hello..the Louis Vuitton speedy 45 which I adore. Please tell me if there is something I'm missing because with a $100+ price tag I could find something better.
I am loving this Vodka
360 Madagascar Vanilla Vodka
It is incredibly smooth and flavorful and as a bonus it's very eco friendly. Recycled glass, water based label ink and you send them the cork back(for free) and they reuse them. When I googled this I saw a lot of talk about a "glazed doughnut" flavor...oh the possibilities. Now Stoli will always be my fav but at $18+ a bottle and me being a bit of a sipper(drinker, shot taker.......who's really keeping track) this was a better option at only around $11.
Last but for sure not least is this little gem!
Pepperwood Grove Pinot Grigio
Now I make no bones about the fact that I am a pretty serious sipper/drinker/shot-taker. I don't come home and throw rollers in my hair and sit down with a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon, but I do like my drinky winky and I like a good variety. I used to be a Bourbon only gal(and I will in the future do a post just on the different bourbons) but I have expanded my horizons to include vodka, beer, and wine. Lots O wine! This stuff is amazing for the price. Any good Pinot Grigio drinker out there knows Santa Margarita is the standard for this variety but if you don't want to spend $20+ a bottle this stuff is DA BOMB DIGGITY at only $5.99 on sale at Kroger, it's regularly $9.99 which is more but still a great deal for this wine. I have paid $6 a glass for PG at restaurants and been less pleased. That's about that. I'm thinking of doing a love it, hate it, want it post every week or so if there is any interest or ya know..if I wanna do it. Enjoy the end of the weekend!

I'm baaaack

I have been gone for a way long time but I'm back now finally!
So many new things to update everyone on. First and best I got a promotion at work to Assistant Manager! I am so happy to have my hard work pay off. Now it's a pretty small restaurant and because it's not corporate there isn't really any farther up to go but I'm hoping this experience will set me up for a good position in a bigger company in the future. It's my dream to eventually run my own little supper club and I feel like I am actually taking a step toward that goal now. I also want to keep my online vintage clothes and accessory sales going but I have been slacka-lacking in a major way. Like I completely stopped, perhaps just like my blogging?
These are the things on my mind lately
Say what? Oh that's right another American Pie Quadreqeal....or whatevs. No really it was decent. Like surprisingly decent considering it's predecessors of late. It had some really funny stuff, some gross funny stuff, some warm and fuzzy stuff. I'm glad I didn't pay $9 to watch it at the theater but it was worth a buck at redbox. Also for those of my generation who can remember way back to the early 2000's Alyson Hannigan who played Willow on BVS or Buffy the Vampire Slayer (come on you know you loved it....or at least David Boreanaz "Angel" and James Marsters "Spike" with their shirts off) is in it and, well I'm not sure where I was going with that but she's a pretty funny girl and it's worth a watch. Oh yeah and I just want to say Tara looks pretty good, she was a hot mess there for a bit and now it looks like she got the "girls" fixed and she's all clean and sober, good for you!
Because Gawd Forbid your other viewing option be this...this....I'm just speechless.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and crew
I thought for a second it was this gal Eden Wood She's a cutie, cutie patootie. But no I was wrong. Just another disturbed little blonde beauty queen. I lost the Gastineau Girls way back when but now this stuff rates over 2 million views. What kind of ish is that.
Well tomorrow is Saturday and I'm hoping to get my garage sale shopping on and hopefully I'll have some minky goodies to show y'all.

New year New loves!

With work and the beau I have been so super busy! I'm hoping to start all kinds of positive trends in my life this upcoming year but so far it's been kind of a bust. I have a few new things to tell you about however.

I found this and it reminded me of the New Years Bash over at Terry and Alana's house. Note to self: don't let the tipsiest person person at the party pour shots. (apple pucker, tequila, and gin???? Yes Mary I'm talkin to you!) I know a lot of people who went through these 9 steps. Not myself of course. I never drink I just sip.....a lot.

Since I am unable to find someone to do an acceptable job on my acrylics(you know I love big hair and long nails) I am trying my best to embrace short stubby little nubs. I hate them but I love this color. It's called Plazaplumberry by NYC. For around $2 it's a steal as long as you use a good top coat. Mucho compliments from coworkers and guests at work.

One of the things I'm really trying to do this year is eat better. I am hoping that if I really try I will be able to take my *fat picture* off the fridge. It helps that this is pretty yummy. Greek yogurt with honey crisp apple pieces.
Speaking of yogurt this stuff is marvelous. Tangy and slightly sweet. This is the only brand I've found that is good though. I don't care what John Stamos says that Oikos stuff is nasty.

This is my new tv crush Christian Kane. I think he's just dreamy. Hehe. I'm not often a fan of long hair on men but he's also from Texas and has the whole rough and tough cowboy thing going for him. For right now he plays Eliot Spencer on Leverage which also happens to be one of my favorite shows. He's got this whole bad boy gone good thing on the show. In real life I'm pretty sure Christian is who Jasmine Rae was singin' bout in Hunky Country Boy.
These are my newest obsession. So neutral so cute. Unfortunately they are so out of my price range it's not even funny.
I think these might be a good compromise. Ghetto fabulous is their usual style but I have been really happy with all the pairs of Guess shoes I have. They are as comfortable as heels get and very stylish.
